2019 Global Impact Report

In 2019, MSI’s bold providers went further than ever to provide high-quality health services to women and girls. We continued to push boundaries and traveled further than ever, across mountains, over rivers, on roads less traveled, to provide safe services to our clients when and where they need them.

The results were life-changing. In 2019, our services prevented:

With your support, we brought reproductive choice to people around the world. Today, more than 32 million people are using a method of contraception provided by MSI, allowing them to continue on their chosen path knowing they are protected.

In our 2019 Global Impact Report, we share the stats and stories behind our work. Click here to read about the impact your support made possible.

Across 36 countries, our team members reached women in the most marginalized communities with life-saving contraception and safe abortion. We brought contraception to women like Ndeye, who was able to use contraception for the first time, and Umah, a student working to achieve her dream of attending university.

In fact, over 70% of clients served lived in communities with the greatest need: adolescents, who face high barriers to care; those using contraception for the first time; and those living in extreme poverty, who have few affordable options.

We were able to reach more women than ever thanks to support from people like you, who believe every woman should have a choice. Thank you for making choice possible for women around the world.
