Short video: Reproductive healthcare powered by Afghan women

In Afghanistan, many women face barriers to accessing healthcare.

Recent studies have estimated that 40% of women in the country do not have access to reproductive healthcare, and low literacy rates and low family income has increased maternal mortality.

That’s why MSI Afghanistan has built a team of local women nurses and midwives who are bravely protecting access to women’s reproductive healthcare in their communities.

Watch a new short video featuring our inspiring MSI Afghanistan colleagues, who share how they’re providing services in this challenging context.
