Keeping our clients and team members safe

The COVID-19 pandemic is shaping up to be this century’s global health challenge; one we weren’t quite prepared for. Like most organizations MSI and MSI United States (MSI US) are adapting rapidly. We are focused on keeping our clients and our team members safe, while we find ways to serve those who need us most at this time.

Nurse Mary Wanjiku Kiari uses improvised hand washing facilities at an MSI-supported clinic.

We have suspended international and most domestic business travel for the next few weeks, and staff in our support offices who are able to work from home are doing so. Others who have family members to care for are on special leave. For our frontline providers who continue to serve our clients, we have sensible protocols in place to ensure minimum disruption and maximum safety.

Every day, MSI team members face and overcome challenges; courage is part of our DNA. We’re confident that we will make it through this troubling time, while continuing to deliver care to the women and girls who need us.
